^^Looks correct to me - makes sense Boe would go to that given his erstwhile 900P.

Yes, at times it looked a bit too stiff for him . They were also wearing some new shoes and Mogensen had that new tourbag, looked pretty sweet in JP edition. One was wearing SHBSC5WM (Boe) and the other something almost completely white:

Since the pit has been opened ...

Forgot where it was mentioned but yes Jenny Wallwork has switched to Voltric 70 as has Gabby White (from AT900P and AT900P(?) to Z-Slash respectively)

^^ and so has Sarah Walker (and Heather Olver's WD partner whose name evades me) - it seems to be at least as popular as the 900P was at its inception. To each his (or, indeed, her) own, but I thought the VT70 was dreadful... but then I'm not on telly.

Well it seems to be quite popular with doubles players, like the Z Slash, but I can't think of many pros using it in singles.

Btw, did Yonex copy Victors Mx80 paint scheme

Edit: I would love to see a VT80 vs MX80 review/comparison thread. I would write the thread my self, but I can't justify the price of the VT80

Is it just me, or did the VT70 look way better? You can't even see the Trivoltage-ness of the 80!

Maybe it's univoltage . Don't remember if he had it on his 900 but on the VT80 he added tape on the head, a single stroke as the strings were covered, untill about the 6th string.

after playing with the VT70 i think that the VT series might be seriously worth considering ... and in conclusion i think i personally will pick VT80 over MX80.
well at least until the MX80 prove itself

The shoe that Mogensen is wearing doesn't look Yonex from the look of the sole:

On the other hand the Voltric 80 is looking pretty catchy:

According to Camel the VT80 will cost only about 100RMB more than the VT70 which makes it quite affordable in contrast to the Arcsaber 10/Z Slash and AT900's. It also costs only slightly more than the other upper mid range Yonex racquets such as the Arc8DX, NS7700 and the no longer produced AT700 new gen which it is supposed to dethrone and replace. With the VT80's extremely stiff shaft and short handle, it may be the next singles players' consideration for a powerful hitting smasher racquet.

On a side note the shoe that Boe is wearing isn't the SHBSC5WM JP seeing that it is of low cut and is missing the "stretch-handle" at the rear in contrast to the JP version:

It still manages to look almost as boxy as the JP version though, which is something that turned me off the model, even though it's one of the only shoes that fit my wide feet

Looks like the VT80 will be the heaviest head racket in YY racket range.
