China 18/7 - 24/7 (Individual Events) China 3/9 - 10/9 (Team Events) Usually, top tier players on the national team don't participate.
Yes in China they don't tend to participate, but in the countries listed, the top players have to play to guarentee national team selection. Otherwise they can lose any funding they have or be kicked out of national team. At least that's what happens here...
English National :crying::crying:for Clark. And what the hell for Liz Cann? http://www.badzine.net/news/english-nationals-clark-out-with-eye-injury/12463/
Quite a funny coincidence that Liz Cann lost in an upset as I recently read a short article on how everyone else is looking for the scalp of national team members during Nationals and they really can only lose as winning is already expected. With that in mind I couldn't help but glee a little reading she lost to a 15yr old, well done to Chloe . - Elsewhere Viktor Axelsen beat Christian "Lin D" Thomsen 21-8, 21-13! (Denmark, MSQF) - Ukraine champions: MS Zavadsky, WS Griga, MD Atraschenkov/Druzchenko, WD Kobtseva/Prus, XD Atraschenkov/Prus
Results from National Championships: "R1" Rune Massing - Eric Pang [2] 8-21 16-21 "R1" Michiel Kruijt - Saber Afif 21-18 21-19
does anybody know, if there will be any livestream or videos available from national championships, for example from denmark or uk, the netherlands?
QF Eric Pang [2] - Michiel Kruijt 21-15 21-12 Streaming? Can't say I've come across any when I was looking up the dates and results pages on all the national federation websites ... I know Denmark is televised but on TV2 instead of TV2Sport so no pay per event option ...
Absolutly no upsets so far in re Scottish Nationals, the finals will consist of 1st and 2nd seeds only.

I find it quite unbelievable NR can just take Clark's spot in the MD the day before the event. Look familiar? http://www.badzine.net/news/national-championships-results-links/12485/

I find it disgraceful that Robertson can just take the place of someone else in the draw, fair enough if it was the week before that clark suffered an injury, but the day before. If it was anyone else, then it wouldn't have been allowed but as it is Robertson, then everyone bends over to please him. This is one of the reasons that Blair left the BE setup, and was also suspended from BE, as BE favoured Robertson. They should stop worshiping Robertson and face reality. Edit: if I was Adcock/Ellis I would feel pretty cheated right now...
Errr... I thought it was a known secret that Robertson has connection in BE. Nothing you can do about it, that's how BE works.
It is the worst kept secret in BE. But I would have thought that the overall wellbeing of BE would be #1 and not what Nathan Robertson wants. Fair enough he was Works Champion, and Olympic Silver Medalist, but he is 33 and really shouldn't be the focus. If the funding for badminton is being cut due to poor results, I wouldn't understand why you would base the whole squad around the oldest members (ie Clark and Robertson) Anyway I am fighting a losing battle here, BE will continue like this until Robertson retires, I hope be doesn't qualify for OG12, I would much rather see Blair/White or/and Adcock/Bankier
