I dont get this.....

    Someone explain what exactly a head light racquet would do for you plz. I dont quite understand why anyone would want something like that when u can have a bit heaver head for more power...

    I believe light racquet head is good for defending as it has more control.

    I believe everything boils down to how you do your stroke. If you have a very good wrist and fingers you could do well with a head light racquet. Heavier racquet helps your smash like you mentioned without using that much wrist motion.

    if u r a stroker and play a lot at the net, then a headlight one would do u more good.

    General rule: Attacking/offensive/arm player --> Head-heavy racket. Defensive/wrist player --> Light/balance racket.
