Not that I know of. You just have to make sure there's someone there to let you in the door. But if you're going to come and watch you might as well play

Winex...I got your cell # still and will call you up to work out travelling details.

I'm not sure where I'll be staying yet...if it's gonna be downtown Van or by the Bridgeport exit from Hwy 99

Timeless - there is a drop-in fee for just guests who come in but not play, it is half the drop-in fee. Make sure you collect it before they enter, and there is a special envelope you put the money in, not the regular white ones at the counter, because these are special cases.

Better, yet, just collect the fee, and give to me and I will make sure it gets dispensed properly.....

Ooooooh that must be that new "Proportional Spectator Fee" I've been hearing about... where the fee is directly proportional to the highest skilled players you're spectating. So since the likes of badrad, txyu, and Winex West Can will be there... it would be certainly be cheaper to play instead of spectate

FYI - I had a discussion with one of the badminton directors last night, and there may be a spot check on Saturday night for unpaid guests. Not that anyone in the BF does it when they drop-in at the VRC, but last Saturday apparently was a mess, with too many "guests" taking the liberty of interpreting the Pay First - PLay Later to reverse the 'L' to PLay First - Pay Later.

Also, for those 'guests' who treat the VRC as a community center with unlimited drop-in - don't.

I have played a system where the a fee is paid on the loss of the game. At the end of the night, losers pay proportionately MORE. OK, so who would that include at VRC on Saturday.

i had a dream last night (actually, i have two dreams, i will post about the other one on another thread).

so the dream was that i for some strange reason was scheduled to have a week long business trip in Seattle.

the next thing that happened on my dream was me checking out how long it is a drive from Seattle to Vancouver, hoping that i can join you guys for some badminton.

then "poof!", i woke up.
