I should be heading over to Paul's to have a look around the machine and check the calibration before we take it down to Birmingham, so I'll try and remember to get some pics. We might be able to send a racket through as well (if either of us have any we wouldn't miss if the worst happened).

I had the pleasure of Mark's company last night so he could string a racket on 7031 before All Englands. We also wanted to calibrate the machine although we were missing key instructions and therefore had to work it out. We didn't quite finish the job last night but I finally understand it this evening and recorded near perfect results.

We are now ready to commence final preparations for All Englands next week when we will be stringing for Korean players and hopefully the other Victor sponsored players.

We will take plenty photosgraphs and post as often as we can.

Tip #1: don't put your finger into the cooling fan.

Lots of pics to follow once we get down there.

Delighted to oblige. Both me and Mark expect to string more BS11 and BS12 than other racket. We know there are one or two Meteor users, and possibly a few Jetspeed.

We are set to go now. All paperwork is ready...I just hope we have enough string.

Your stringing machine is quite low! Do you always string like this ?

is it me or is the distance between the tensioner and the racket is quite long? Mark/Paul could you do a measurement? It seems much longer than the distance when compared to pictures of Mark's stringing machine (Pro's Pro??).

That was my first thought too ... but then i have a shuttle express with a WISE mounted a couple of inched from the table - i only need about 8-10 inches of free string on the last pull.

No, that's me forgetting about the height adjustment:P. I sent nine rackets through, then remembered.

From the racket T-joint to the middle of the diabolo is about 10 inches. I can set mine wherever I want, of course, but I normally use 7 ish.

    Hi Mark/Paul

Any requests for specific stringing patterns or just string type and tension?

What's been the most popular string type requested so far?

    Zoidius

Generally Koreans use VS850 and Chinese Taipei use VS800.

Highest tensions we've strung have been 33/33.

We strung all rackets in 2 piece bottom up. None of the players requested a specific stringing pattern.
