Precisely! I don't think they should include the seniors in. They are there simply because PBSI needs to deliver 4 golds and the officials are a bit skeptical that they can do it without Taufik and Kido/Hendra.

I think they should include Rian/Angga as MD2 to expose them to more senior-level tourneys (despite them being ranked at no 22 now).

The lure of maximizing gold medals for INA me thinks

Amazingly enough, BAM did the right thing by sending younger players for exposure. I can't believe I said that. Now I need to wash my mouth out with soap.

I think it's going to be impossible for INA to lose now. Both their remaining Singles are too strong if Markis/Hendra get upset by Bodin/Maneepong

The SEA Games 2007 had Muay Thai and Dancesport (obviously both dominated by the host country Thailand) as two of the sports.

No doubt about it, the host country will typically win the overall medal count by a big margin (unless if its held at smaller countries like Singapore, Laos, or Myanmar).

Haha, it's rare someone compliments BAM and their gang of money sucking cronies.

Would be interesting to see what Timor Leste can conjure up for novelty sport if they ever get to hold a SEAG.

Muay Thai actually become more popular right now....More ppl are playing it...

I like dancesport because it's very rare to see........Salsa, Tango etc

But I agree, it will more balance of getting more gold medals if held by smaller countries.......
