this is right handed player but he doesnt move his right leg to front when he is in backhand position.

It is best to have the racket foot to the front to allow us to obtain the best (maximum) reach if the shuttlecock is to be hit further away from us.

But if the shuttlecock is closer to our bodies, we can play the shot with our non-racket to the front.

However, it is best to make it a 'Good habit': Always try to have to racket-foot placed nearer to the net (whether the shot is taken closer to us or not).

I wouldn't trust the other videos by Expertvillage - they're usually crap, and the Badminton vids are pretty bad as well :/

The table tennis vids are total crap for example (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LzUW...feature=relmfu & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVfmM...feature=relmfu to begin with) - and seriously, just watch the video about the Badminton smash and tell me it's not bad. I don't want to insult anyone but I don't think posting videos teaching wrong technique is a good thing to do. Even though the guy in the Badminton videos may be a good player and perhaps even a good coach, there are several wrong statements&explanations in the videos.
The one chris linked is actually not bad though (which we knew because he said so )
