These videos are an amazing find and it settles what I'll be doing in my early morning footwork training for the next few weeks! First and second videos show so much agility and speed and the others show how to build up to the speed seen in the first two videos.
Thanks Kwun.

It's so easy to get a light sweat doing the Chinese Steps in seconds. I am amazed that the guy chasse all over the court covering all six corners.

Basically, all Footwork exercises are good for Badminton
.
Basically, all Footwork exercises are good for Badminton, although we should classify what are the main purposes for doing them.
There are exercises for;
* Building up strength
* Building up speed
* Building up power
* Gaining more agility
* Gaining more flexibility
* Gaining better tempo
* etc, etc, ......
I like Footwork 1 because it's the actual Footwork that I use during a rally. Same steps/movement taken to various court locations. It's actually a 'Badminton Dance'. Doing it with music is even more enjoyable.

Nice. Some of the exercises don't need a court size area which means I can try them at home (although I have a downstairs neighbour of whom to take consideration).

Footwork is important not only for beginners, i have seen videos that even world class players like Cai yun , Fu haifeng , the ladies players Yu yang still do footworks , in their training.

Errr. I donno about the second video
I mean, he move very fast, but it just look awkward... seem like he is rushing at everything instead of keeping a much more "Controlled" steps.
If you look at how LCW and LD play, they're pretty calm and in control of their movement...
But, who knows, I'm still a rookie when it comes to this sport.
