with my broken english,i try to translate

lin dan:i sincerely think that lee chong wei is the top ms player in the world. this is my opinion

    mc: only second to u?

lin dan:no,u cant say like this.i really think he is a all rounder, many think like this too, include our coaches and experts. they analysis the statistic of badminton matches lead to this conclusion: lcw is truly all rounder.

mc:this mean u hardly found his weakness?

lin dan:yes,it is hard. sometimes, youngster can play well against taufik/peter gade, sometime lose, sometime win. but against lee chong wei,if u dont do well,u will lose in straight set, because he has this ability to win. thats why i think he is the best ms in the world.

mc: can u tell me what u saw in his eye in the final of asian games 2010?

lin dan:there is an interesting rally when i leading 4-1 in 1st set,we exchange some shot at the net and he won,he yelled at me to express his emotion and stare me seriously. i am not happy at that moment.

mc:u feel it is very challenging and hostility?

lin dan:but i can understand,he lost to me 2008 final,of course he want to win in another major tournament final. thats why i smile to him and ask him to relax(with body language). then he feel better after that.

mc:how u found the tactic to overcome him?how u found his weakness?

lin dan:i dont feel that i overcome him, because when both player is on the almost same level, its depend on the pressure. i feel lucky because in china team, beside me,cai yun/fu hai feng and ours ws/wd are also the great contender of the gold medal. unlike lee chong wei,all the malaysian put the hope on him,i feel that his pressure is greater than mine, just like liu xiang in 2008 OG. that pressure is too over, and ironically, everytime we meet in major tournament final. thats why his pressure is greater.

mc: lee chong wei said u is a formidable opponent,he feel that u work very very hard to have such a high speed smash(325 km/h)

lin dan:it might be my fastest, but not the fastest of the entire badminton world.

mc:where u put extra attention when u prepare to face lee chong wei?

lin dan:lee chong wei is one of the hardest opponent, but if u are preparing to win a major tournament,u need to pay extra attention to many opponent. if u only prepare for lee chong wei,u might lost to park sung hwan or nguyen tien minh. they are the dark horse of asian games 2010.if u not prepare well,u might suffer losses. when prepare for lee chong wei, actually it is lesser than others opponent, because we familiar to each other games, its more on psychological part.

    ------------------------------------------------------
i think its 90% of what lin dan say, feel free to correct me:)

what lin dan said right at the end is quite interesting and scarily for the other guys.
he said since he has now won all the majors that on offer, the pressure is off that and from now on he can and will play better.

Indeed.. we are lucky to be treated to such badminton spectacle. While I watch the 2008 OG in awe of the rather single sided display, I find the 2010 Asian Games the best singles play I have seen. Both players fought so hard and displayed top notch court finess and personal character. In a way, only LCW can bring that out of LD and vice versa, and the result is the epic encounter we all wanted to watch and feel.

Before the KO2011, the AG2010 was one of the highest quality matches. But after watching the MS final of the KO2011, in my opinion that is the best encounter of these 2 great players thus far. The points difference was close and each rally displayed the real genius in them. Looking forward for more matches of such caliber.

2011 Korea Open PSS: The best match between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan thus far

    .
    Agree. :):):)

For me, the 2011 Korea Open PSS MS Final was the best match between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan thus far.

LD was lucky that LCW was unfortunate to commit many errors after 16-all in their 3rd game. Otherwise, their 3rd game could end up with a duce (at 20-all).
    :):):)

i agree with all that has been said. these two are top players with a healthy rivalry. they mutually respect each others. we as fans should respect each other too.

these two guys really display that badminton is also a gentleman's game. the picture above shows such humility inspite of greatness. even if we can't play like them, we should show the same humility these two great players have shown.

They sure show great sportmanship. On the contrary, there are way more snobbish "champions" around the local clubs.

The secret has been revealed. LD is greater than LCW because he has a superior massage chair. :p
