    It was a result from a shaft-shaft clash. ZSlash broke near the CG of the racquet.

    The birdie came in between us (he was on my right). I called out a LET to pre alert my partner so that he doesn't need to clear the birdie with his backhand stroke. As I started my swing for a forehand baseline clear, suddenly this smart alec came into my path. Both racquets clashed and the rest was history.

    Looks like a clean semi-circle breakage of the outer shaft and then splintered the inner core. Ugh!

    the broken end is quite sharp! luckily the head-end of the racquet never hits anyone at the other end of the adjacent court.
