During school tryouts, I injured my achilles tendon and stretched it right away, sprayed it with some freeze spray for sports injuries, rested a bit, then continued playing. I don't know how severe it is but when I stretch it, it hurts but nothing too painful. It's the kind of pain you feel when you're stretching but a little worst than that. I can walk fine so I don't think it's a tear or anything but I'm not too sure if it's achilles tendinosis. I can feel a slight stiffness when I walk and when I pinch that area, it feels like pinching a sore muscle. There also isn't any signs of swelling at the moment. So I'm wondering if it's severe or not? BTW this all happened about 3hrs ago

    you probably pulled it

put ice pack on it 10 minutes every few hours to reduce the inflammation for 1-2 days

then go easy on it for a few days

I hope its only just a pull, next tryout is in 5 days and it's the last cut, so I hope it heals by then.

    Thanks for the advice
