Based on serial number... yes it's fake.

    What was the cost?

the next time you buy a Yonex racket, you could post it here and follow the format:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...First!/page748

do not post in there if it's from e-bay

no need to open new thread if you don't have any pictures of actual racket for us to inspect

    yes, it's a fake racket

Thank you very much. im very new to BC and I apologize.

The cost was about 44$. Seller said they were overruns. I also suspected that it was a fake since 6 as a starting serial number is too old.

Ummm... the fact that it was only $44 should have been the first hint don't you think?

in badminton world, it is impossible to get such a deal
except it is used racket with many paint chips
Go for yonex dealer in your area, it is safer that way

we have been talking about rackets and costs and fakes here for years. with people from every corner of the earth. unfortunately, every time someone comes in and tell us that they got a miracle price for Yonex rackets, they always end up being fake. not once were it real. not once.

we have connections to dealers and distributors all over the world, and we can tell you that even in Asia, $44 is way way way below the wholesale price from Yonex.

words like overrun, AA grade, OEM, etc, are just words fake sellers use to entice you to believe they are the real stuff. they are not.
