The Voltric 80 SP is available in 3U and 4U in both G4 and 5 each. Tension is stated at up to 27 lbs for the 3U version. It is definitely more head-heavy than the VT70 and to me also looks better. Official launch is 5 Mar 2011, Sat which is tomorrow. These batch arrived early for stringing at Sports Life and to be sent to Mustafa afterwards in time for tomorrow.
the same as this one http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/94141-Yonex-voltric-80-(vt80) then?
no, no this one is SP (unless an existing thread cannot be found ) Where's the old review section when you need it ...
Looked up the specs on MBS and am wondering why they came out with two flexible shaft rackets in a row? A stiff shaft would make more sense for a second release.
Sorry, I actually meant "medium stiff". but MBS lists them both as medium stiff. Doesn't make much sense to me if that's true and not a mistake by MBS.
The stiff rating is from Yonex and also listed as such on several french, czech and swiss webshops, including badmania: http://badmania.fr/test-details&famille=9&produit=132.html#menu Yonex annonce la Voltric 80 rigide avec un poids en tête. La rigidité est confirmée par les trois testeurs ainsi que le poids en tête.
the VT80 has cone code 251202SP so they did not stop even when Christmas, I thought Japanaese love Christmas?
I usually interested with Japanese culture and actually they do celebrate Christmas, not as birthday of Jesus, but as an excuse for them to partying they even have KFC Christmas menu (As KFC identical with westerner)
i guess to that degree, yes. but to note that Dec 24-25 isn't even a national holiday there while the typical Japanese will take up to a week off for Jan 1st / new years.
