I see Alzbeta Basova is participating in WD (with Lucie Havlova) and in XD (with Jakub Bitman, seeded, Czech XD champions).

I'm gonna be rooting for her :D

Watch out for Pablo Abian. I think he would do well here (after his impressive performances at last week's Swiss Open GP Gold tournament.

    My picks for this week:

MS: Semi Final will be between:

Flemming Quach/Kevin Cordon vs Anand Pawar
    Koichi Saeki vs Pablo Albian

Flemming vs Kevin will be a tough match, I wouldn't underestimate Kevin, he is by far the best player in the Americas region. But Flemming is up and coming, and will want to cause an upset. (Flemming did well against Anand in November)

I don't think this Kevin Cordon Buezo is the Kevin Cordon. When I click on his name it takes me to the profile of some Indonesian player, so I don't know who this guy actually is.

Nah, tournament software goes crazy some times, putting in the wrong links.:) Kevin Cordon and Kevin Cordon Buezo are the same person (the same person that almost beat HKV last week)

Nice going TS then. He has one name in the Swiss Open and then a different name in this Polish IC and the link to his profile is wrong.

Ha ha, not sometimes. It's all the time. They just keep on adding to the already multiple identities of the same person. It's such a waste of time clicking on all of them when searching for a player's tournament history.

Yeah, just go to the rankings page, then you can see all the tournaments he has won.:) there are quite a few big wins in his H2H but also some suprise defeats.

A good player, with a very good chance here, I an not sure why he is in the EU though, usually he stays in the Americas or Asia, he must have found funding somewhere
