Have a section in the general forum dedicated to techniques? or will that make things too complex? kinda lik in the trouney section... lik how u would have a general tourney (general) forum and then sections wif different years (technique) as a sub-forum kinda thing

Ignore me if I'm not making sense...
it was jus another 4am thought...

if anything, i think we should split up the Equipment forum. everyday we have a lot of people asking questions like:

    "what racket should i buy?"
"i want a more powerful racket"
    "Ti-10 vs. MP100"
    "Ti-10 vs. MP77"
    "Ti-10 vs. MP99"
    "MP100 vs. MP77"
    "MP100 vs. MP99"
    "MP77 vs. MP77"

    ad infinitum.

imho, they go meaningless after a while. perhaps we should just create a new forum for these type of posts, and then we can leave the other equipment related discussions in Equipment.

    any comments?

I think there would still be confusion/moving threads to that forum. It might just be more work then saying, "Do a search" or doing it for them ;) If all those are gone, what will the equipment forum exactly be? Just detailed, technical equipment talk? e.g. Armortech thread?

I dont think you can seperate the techniques from the equipment forum because i do belive technique depends upon the equipment you are using. There is no exactly optimal stroke that applies for all racquets... the timings are different. I think technique is just fine as it is. Maybe a new forum when the board gets busier.
