Chong Wei Feng should be promoted to the main draw as the top seed in the qualifiers. Chetan Anand withdrew if you check properly.

Sorry Chris, I have no idea. However, if you look at the MS draw and look at number 8, Chetan Anand's name is still there but with the words (WDN) which indicates that he had withdrawn. Chong Wei Feng, as the top seed of the qualifiers will take his place. I sincerely hope that Chong Wei Feng can perform well here... but he has a tough 2nd round match against Yamada Kazushi.

Well, any given day, I will say this is good news for Firda.........but looking at her recent form, I won't be so sure.......

She will has the easiest draw among other WS in R1, Aprilia faces Schenk and Linda faces CSC...So she should take full advantage of this.

The XD Qualification is being dominated by Asians.

7 out of 8 matches have been played, and pairs from the following countries have qualified: JPN 3, KOR 2, NED 1, TPE 1. The Dutch pair qualified from a Europe vs. Europe duel, while the Asian pairs were all involved in Europe vs. Asia duels.

The last pair to qualify to the 2nd Round of Qualification will be either Ronan/Vignes Waran (FRA) or Khodabux/Barning (NED).

lol now I see that I used the term "qualified", when I actually meant that they went on to the 2nd round of Qualification.

Anyway, the FRA pair joins the 6 Asian and 1 Dutch pairs in the 2nd round of XD qualification. The duels in the 2nd round will be JPN vs. KOR, JPN vs. JPN, NED vs. KOR, and TPE vs. FRA. Hoping for Asian victories in the Asia vs. Europe duels :D
