So I used my new racket that I got from China. idk if it's any good, but after about a week of play, the grip has peeled off! The week totaled about 3-4 hours of play. Looking at the grip, it is wrapped around and glued down. Now it is unraveling.

It looks sort of like this grip i think: http://www.campathletic.com/images/Badmiton.JPG

What do I do? Can I make the grip stay for longer? or is it normal for grip to fall off after a few hours of play :/ Is there some special glue I can use? Can I make my own grip? (idk if it's the way I hold it, but I find that it sometimes bruises my hand. I try to hold it with the V-Shape, but after my smashes, it sometimes hurts.

if you like the racket, just take off the original grip, and replace it with a new grip.

the racket itself isn't great, but since it's new, i don't really want to get another one D:

is there anyway i can put this grip on with some sort of glue that will make it stay? or are there home made grips i can use?

as some have said, just get a new replacement grip

only problem is that it will cost you almost 1/3 of your racket cost! :p :D

A series of replacement grips for a $10 racquet? A bit like buying the house for the paint, isn't it? :)

just go to the hardware store and get some double sided tape, carpet tape will work fine. thing is that you need to wrap the top inch or so of the grip with a good racket tape. electrical will do if you have some.

the problem with glue is that you may want to actually replace the grip in the future.

so glue is more permenant? probably would stay on better too? This racket isn't great either, so i mean if i do end up wanting a better grip, i'd probably just go get a new racket

I once rolled duct tape on a dollar-store racquet of mine, many years ago. The tape stayed fine, but it became slippery after a while.

In that case, just go buy some gorilla glue.

yeah, i've decided to look for either tennis tape wrap things or just use gorilla glue on it. Also, i'm just curoius, what's the diff in style between a lighter racket and a heavier one? just in case i plan on buying one
