Hey there everyone. I have a local tournament comming up on the 17th. So im wondering what does everyone eat a day for two before a game to be at your best? Also what do you eat during the game to keep you going, like fruits or any veggies?

Loads and loads of pasta and potatoes several days before.

Power bar 1 hr before, gatorade during.

Make sure you don't eat too much, especially greasy foods several hours before.

I try not to eat too much before a tournament, I've had so many stomach issues during a tournament because of things i've eaten in the morning or the night before T____T

Look up "carbo loading" in Wiki, or maybe this forum. I recalled this had been discussed before. It's true don't eat too much just before (1-2 hours), or during tournament. Perhaps during tournament, eat more often, but less. And don't experiment with new food/drinks.
