This video is the most popular video on YouTube in the category "News & Politics" right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iihtp7fxe_A&feature=topvideos From what I gather it's an Indian song imitated (quite well) by some sort of military unit in Indonesia. Maybe our Indonesian friends can enlighten us as to what it is about. It sounds better than the original (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueiANqgRlXI ) at times, because of the clapping and the boots
And the original by the policeman
lol found out some more info The guy is apparently a police officer who posted a video of himself lip-synching to some Hindi song (the one demolidor posted above). The video caused a bit of controversy because he was dressed in his uniform, so his superior "punished" him by making him sing another Indian song in front of and with the other police officers.
It all ended well although based on the paper reports it sounded a lot more like the police authority caving into public pressure. Whilst asking for leniency for something of no importance like this is fine - they're just bored of sitting there, waiting for nothing to happen - I suppose as long as they can still catch the criminal, help people and carry out their duties properly without being affected by such side hobbies, then it should be encouraged.
Yeah, I think it shows great sense of humor, and they should do this more often as long as it doesn't interfere with their job, as wilfredlgf pointed out.
