Interesting match ups in WS... Let's see if Porntip and Ratchanok can rise to the occasion to beat their Chn rivals WL was given a good fight today by Firda....
I hope Uncle WCH gets through to the final. He is indeed Mas 2nd best MS player. It’s a shame the young ones in the national squad cannot do as well. The same goes for CEH/WPT. The pair appear OK despite WPT's 7 months' lay off due to surgery.
Good to see Tommy starts beating some world class players like BP and WCH.......more to come....but sad to say, where are MAS's back ups ? hahahaha....
Don't worry about his stamina. If Tommy able to drag WCH to rubber, I'm kinda optimist that Tommy will win. Skill wise and experience, uncle Wong is still ahead, I believe.
I think Liu Xin can be taken. It depends which Rat shows up. Her form has been spotty of late, but that's to be expected as she faces more quality opposition. In Rat and Porntip, we have the future of Thai WS. My prediction is, unfortunately, both bite the dust today
XD, Sudket/Saralee vs Hashimoto/Fujii, 21-10 ; 19-21 ; 2-2... WD, Matsuo/Naito vs Ou/Xiong, 21-19 ; 16-10
Fourth seeded pair, Matsuo/Naito booked final spot, def.Ou/Xiong, 21-19 ; 21-14. Thai XD pair is trailing 8-11 at decider...
