SAVE JAPAN BADMINTON INITIATIVE: Adult Fundraising Class on April 11, 18, 25
Join Royal Badminton Academy in our efforts to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Get inspired by Lee Chong Wei and Taufik Hidayat, who used the sport of badminton and its cross-cultural popularity to raise hopes, awareness and funds by organizing the “Hope & Smile” exhibition match and auction in Malaysia.
Now there is something you can do! Take our adult badminton class perfect for beginner and intermediate players, sharpen your skills, and stay after for some friendly matches with the coaches and other players. Save Japan Badminton Initiative class is taught by Kota Morikawa, our Royal Coach from Japan, and James Young.
April 11, 18, 25
7:00 – 8:30 pm: Class
8:30 – 11:00 pm: Games and free play
Only $20 per session (including $8 drop-in fee for non-members)
100 % of proceeds will be donated to the Japanese Cultural Community Center of Northern California: http://www.jcccnc.org/.
