Li-ning National Team's clothes & shoes now will not sell in store. For example , their white shirt in Badminton Asia Championships 2011.

How long do you guys thin it will be before they go on sale? Seems like a very poor marketing strategy to have their players wear the gear in games but not let customers buy the products. Very strange indeed.

I thought the VT80 and new line of Yonex shoes went on sale only a week or so after the Finals of Yonex All England 2011?

I think you missed my point as well bro. Li-Ning's top player HAS already worn these shoes. Just curious as to when they will actually get released. Would have made more sense to release them during his own actual use of them. Or at least at the end of the tournament he wore them for.

Who knows, maybe they'll get released in the next month or so.

This model will be released at July. Duo series 夺系列

I love my Astecs! Probably harder to find in your neck of the woods but these are stable, light, and provides very good grip, all for a staggering USD 35 only.

About the prices of Li-Ning clothing. Well Li-Ning is a very new brand in badminton terms and the chinese team has only been using them since April 2009 or so and in that year there were only like 2-3 different shirt designs that the players were wearing. Maybe that is the reason why everything is so expensive even now, because with the few articles they have (now there are of course a lot of shirts from them but still not anywhere near Yonex etc.) they want to earn the most they can.

Of course Yonex shoes etc. aren't cheap either, but there are a lot of them that are definitely more affordable than all the Li-Ning products. That's just what I think. I can understand you wanting to buy new shoes though, I don't want to offend you really, but yeah those shoes you bought are probably the ugliest I ever though, sry. D:

By the way I have these shoes Name: SHB-85%20LTD%20Red-1.jpg

I just bought a pair of these. On sale for 16 reduced from 55. Can't go wrong! They're light, comfy and grippy.

Sports Direct have plenty of the plainer looking indoor court shoes, if you ever need a replacement pair:

Wish I'd known that earlier. Though I'm happy with the purchase. 16 is peanuts really.
