is there anyplace that i can play badminton w/out paying but have good courts in Vancouver other than VRC??

I believe all badminton courts at recreation centers and private clubs requires you to pay. I guess the only other options left are school gyms and churches.....you can try asking around, especially your own school. Usually the gym is empty afterschool and the staff there sometimes don't mind you playing in the gym. At least, that was the case during my highschool years when I played basketball with some friends in the gym....but it's worth a try.

I would like to know too.

Actually there is a church gym in Richmond where if you are a member of the church, you can book the gym and play for free BUT the facility can't be compared to the courts at VRC.

I wish I knew some places too. The only place I've been to recently are the courts at UBC

My cousin goes to a church in Richmond that has a gym that lets members of the church use it. I played with my cousin in that gym last summer, but its REALLY small, i think it could only fit MAYBE 2 courts, and the roof is pretty low. I'd rather pay to go somewhere better.
