Knicks got swept. Next step would be to lure (probably) Chris Paul to run the Point instead of the aging Billups. Maybe we'll see more big three's next year because it would seem everyone is trying to do so. Celtics got their aging 3. Miami got 3. Amare, Melo plus Paul (maybe?), etc., etc., etc.. Gone are the days when the dynamic duo reigned supreme. Bigger bang for the bucks too.
Superman Dwight Howard can't fly after all. Meanwhile the Atlanta Hawks just flew by. Sometimes, respect is all that is needed. Remember Jameer Nelson told Derrick Rose during the end of regular season: See you in the 2nd round?
Oh, I was hoping OKC would meet the LAL in the 2nd round but the seedings just wouldn't allow it. It should be more fun for them to meet in the 2nd round. Whereas, if/when they meet in the West's Finals, advantage will be on LAL's favour due to experience and being the defending two-time champ.
I'm a bit skeptical about the Mav's past record. Mavs against the defending champs (tough I'd surely welcome a Mav's win)? At least with OKC, LAL doesn't really have a true idea how the upstarts play during the playoffs!
Oh well, it starts with one superstar then follow by one superstar plus his sidekick and now three men team. Soon it'll be a dream team. Ha ha
It's a coincidence that I just finished watching Shohoku High School beat their counterparts Ryonan to reach the nationals.
Questions - what are the significance of white jerseys; is it the home or away team, or it's compulsory for one team to be clad in that colour?
Basically it's really about lighter shade (or team colours, like the Celtics' green and the Lakers' yellow) for the home team and darker for away. San Antonio Spurs wears white at home but Black when away (but that's balck and white, literally.). Now, let's take the Miami Heat, they wear red at home and black when away. However, they also have white jerseys for home games when (for example) against the LA Clippers which wears white at home and Red when away (so, there won't be any confusion when they all clump together).
Round 2, strike one goes to Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies (Marc Gasol might face-off with big brother Pau Gasol in the next round? Too early too call but should be interesting.).
Considering he's older...sometime last week he got hurt and still exploded with a win (talking about the Lakers vs New Orleans series)! If he was hurt that bad I doubt he'll even play. Now, how about Cryami if they can't win the championship? Guess, it'll be 'nuff said about the BIG THREE huh! Btw, Cryami just dump Celtics for a commanding 2-0 lead! Man, that's a big hole to climb out!
