I notice you didn't mention 'control'

At 29lbs, at the net I may as well be playing my touch game with a plank of wood.

    too tight?

a bit. the only downside is the the sweet spot is smaller. but when you do hit the sweetspot... OMG.

the crispiness is addicting. esp on the first day. and noticable too, the "ting" is very very apparent. one of the local coaches was next to me when i warmed and immediate commented on its tension.

i played with it for 2 days, pretty hard games throughout.

usually the old one will be dead by now, but this one seem to keep on going. if it lasts 2 weeks and maintain 90% of the performance compare to fresh, then i think it is worth it.

i did mention feel, which enables control.

Since Z65 hasnt arrived in Msia, might give Z62 a try, but probably much lower tension than yours, 26 or 27lbs. Yeah if it lasts for 2 weeks, its worth it.

Cant imagine such thin string strung at such high tension, the sound would be unbelievable.

since i string my own racket, the monetary cost is really very minimal. so 29lbs is a no-brainer. for people who need to pay for labor on the other hand, 27lbs is more advicable.

however, i do have a AT700 strung with this stuff at 27lbs and the overall feel is different for some reason. it could be the racket.

29lbs was done on a MX70, which totally means that it might become my go to racket. at least for the time being.

The sweetspot couldn't be any smaller than it is at 24lbs. It would become a black hole.

i tried it at 23.5lbs. while the repulsion is decent, the feeling is kinda "meh"... 29lbs is the way to go.

disclaimer though that the 23.5lbs was tried on a ARC7, which in itself is quite whippy.

i think the next test would be to string up my two SW35 with ZM62N@29lbs and Babolat Finebraid Micro @ 27lbs to do an A/B compares. red vs. orange.

I think I'm more inclined to try ZM70 at 30lbs, but then again I don't have my own stringing machine.....which is probably just as well!

Why do you try 23.5lbs? 27 and 29lbs is really much more than 23.5lbs.
I only can speak for me: If I'm getting used to a tension I'd be totally confused with anything vary 0,5kg or more...

23.5 was for a client. he wanted to try this new fancy string but his cannot handle stiff stringbeds.

Does anyone (probably Dinkalot) have any idea when Zymax 65 will be potentially coming to a European market? I have practically run out of zymax 62 (old style) and was hoping to try zymax 65 (and maybe replace 62 with 65).

But if it isn't coming out any time soon I will have to move on to using the new zymax 62 and then try zymax 65 at a later date. Thanks for any info.

No need for 65, just use 67 v2 red (or so I was told coming up three months ago). Of course if you were expecting the 65 to be more like the 62 than 67 you should probably get the 62.

Should add that was told ZM67 in red is actually the thinnest out of the colours and plays thinner than "67" and therefore closer to the 65.
