Well I love the new 65 too much that I ended up buying another reel, but in optic yellow instead of another reel of red. I would like to see if the yellow is comparable in term of stringing and performance to the red one. Mind you the red string was pretty rought and can be challenging for those beginner stringers out there. Anyways, will update you guys on the 65 optic yellow as soon as I get them. So far I am in love with the red.

On another front, just ordered 10 packages of 62 in red, 70 in white just to give it all a try. Will update you guys on stringing and performance as well later.

Oh yeah...update on my 65 red...its still going strong at 26lbs for almost 2 weeks now. My wife was playing on the 98 and i let her use my zymax 65 red on the arc 10 and she refuses to give me back my racket =(

Red strings on red rackets can have that effect on women

I think it's pretty much unanimous that the Zymax line is definitely the best tension holding string out there. It's compromised because of this, but that's the price you pay for not having to restring every 3 weeks.

Check with your local distributors. Zymax 65 just came out very recently it will take some time for it to saturate all the markets and so on. I am sure you will be able to get your hands on it very soon, just check in with your string guys. Or if you are in the US you can buy them directly from Ashaway for 90 dollar per reel or 5 dollar per package.

Oh I forgot to mention if you guys are ordering from Ashaway, it usually take them 1 business day to process "badminton" related items if you put your order in before noon EST. They usually ship UPS ground unless you want a faster method of delivery or so. They can give you tracking number and send you invoice. Usually from RI to cali it takes like 3-5days or so...pending the driver and so on. I have no idea regarding international order. But for me they been pretty good in getting things out and responsive to all emails so far.

I know they have different global regions pricing policy for their products, but through internet people can get stuffs all around the world. The same string you can get it roughly around $80/reel delivered to north america, so does it really matter still have the policy enforced ??

Not that I know of. I know for a fact that local distributors will be able to buy Ashaway string for much cheaper than what I myself can get it for, hence they probably turn over the lower price for you guys. So I dont know, keep an eye out for the best deal because its really worth it. I really like the 65 so far, its durable, repulsive, awesome hitting sound and not to mention cost half the price if not more than Yonex string.

the debate is really whether ZM65 or ZM62 is better.

obviously the tradeoff is performance vs. durability. ZM62 we already know is an excellent string. is the ZM65 any better, or worse.

i have some ZM65 samples coming my way so we will find out in a couple of weeks.

I should have my ZM62 by Monday, will string it and test it out at night and we will see. I hope that 62 will be as good as the 65. Well good to me is measured in term of durability over time and power. Control and sound isnt that important to me because right now most of my rackets are strung with 98 and we all know how slipper 98 is. I hope those 98 breaks soon, i need to string all my rackets with 62, 65, 67 and 70 to fully test the product lines from Ashaway.

Looks great on your racquet!! I'm looking out for the Z65 as well but stringers world only offers the white reel. Haven't tried W+D or Goode Sports yet. Can I ask where you got the red Z65 from in the UK?
