Last week they beat KKK/TBH.
Today in Australia Open QF, they beat Noriyasu/Hirokatsu.
Good luck in SF against Kido/Hendra. The AUS open title is quite often for any pairs left, Endo/Kenichi, Fang/Lee. I hope they can cruise to final, and hopefully win the title. As they need to defend their runner up point at India SS..

I am waiting for Angga/Rian to make a revenge to Markis/Hendra and Chai/Guo...

AngRi can give any of the top 12 pairs a good fight, they should be in top 10 soon. The problem is both lack experience. Actually, if they switch partner with Bona/Ahsan for 1 tournament, they might gain some experience.

PBSI should choose AngRi to be in Thomas Cup. It should be BoSan, KinDra and them. Or if Alvent is selected, then one of them should be selected instead of Hendra A Gunawan.

I can see more confidence in them, especially playing against top 10 pairs. However, they are still not consistent enough, resulting in the loss to lower ranked pairs such as Wu/Liao (Korea SSP 2012) and Issara/Jongjit (in India SS 2012 SF)
So far, the 7 losses this year are from:
Kido/Hendra - 1x
Hashimoto/Hirata - 2x
Chai/Guo - 1x
Endo/Hayakawa - 1x
Wu/Liao - 1x
Issara/Jongjit - 1x
They have huge pts to defend in the next few months and they better win a title or two to make sure they can still be in the top 20!

although Angga/Rian play lazy style, but their attacking is quite deadly.
very good. now, they have to improve their drive play and control the tempo.
this will help them to control the game and save some energy.
they can not just attack and attack. it will exshaust them.
we have seen last year, when Angga/Rian lost tamely to Chai/Guo because empty tank of gas after tiring game against Lee/Jung.

I read somewhere that Ryan was ill during the final. Hence couldn't play his 100%.
Not trying to defend them, but I don't think they are the type who'd lose without any fight (i.e. score below 10).
