    @Mark A

TK6000 is so diametrically opposite in specs from your favourite very stiff head light rackets. What happened? :0

Believe me, the TK6000 should not have worked for me. But it did. Can't really do anything about it, just go with it.

We'll see how it does in a game situation.

(By the way - me, reserved? I slammed the NR-ZSP, if you recall!)

I agree - this was clever for two reasons:

    1. This racket wouldn't be anything special in 3U - in fact, I reckon it would end up floppy and lose its sharpness.
    2. The TK9000 has similar flex and balance, but this will be a 3U. If the TK6000 were a 3U as well, they'd be the same with only the paint job to differentiate them.

Also very pleasing was that Victor are starting to give us G5 handles now - at long bloody last.

Wait, I've been saying this all along. :P Head heavy(ish) 4U rackets rule. They have both speed AND power, which is what everyone wants, isn't it?

AND....I've also taken a liking to thinner handles too, so the WL's will have G5 handles, standard. (as will any new prototypes).

Coz you can build handles up, but ya can't build them down.

Do we have a BP and SW on the 4U TK6000?

I'll weigh/balance it when I cut the string out - it's still got the factory grip on.

This one is 304/85.0. I was expecting it to be at least two or three grams lighter.

    85g dry?

The specs of my go-to for the past 2 seasons has been 304/91g/41g (wet, with Karakal PU Super)

Woah. That means that with string the BP would probably be pushing 310! That's huge for a Victor.

Indeed, but it feels nowhere near 310 in my hand. The 4U may be confusing me, though.

When I measured it was 89g and around 313 wet but my measuring tape wasn't the best. At least scales were accurate so I may be a mil or so out.

I have done many testing sessions with Mark and by far this racket outperformed everthing else we have tested - by a mile, except JJS. The shots Mark returned with ease were remarkable and he's NEVER hit so many sharp angles as he did with TK6000. It was as though suddenly somebody had opened up his repertoire of shots and allowed him full expression on court for the first time. The same for me too!
Because I've moved from Yonex to Victor I am having to be careful with my review otherwise it could be misconstrued as me being overly biased to my new sponsor which simply isn't true. At least I have an independent verifier in Mark to confirm my findings.

When you get the MX90, message me to let me know if I need to buy a few more JJS's or just wait for the replacement please

    As requested by Paul,

I saw the new TK-7000 (either "TK7000-S" or "TK7000-Z" - I couldn't see the details clearly) as currently used by Tai Tzu Ying from her facebook

She uploaded it a month ago in her timeline, link =

IMHO - the color seems to be inspired by spongebob....
