Why aren't you considering the Thrusters?

Ravy's that's not true. There's a very powerful player at a club near me who has two 7400's. He loves them and has not reported any problems. And i can vouch he hits the shuttle very hard.

I read that for some random user Paul, but yes, probably not true.

    I order today one 7400 from directbadminton.co

Hope I dont feel disapointed since the racket is incredible light, I'm very afraid that my smashes wont feel good and with the time I loose "power" because it's so so light racket!

ps: thanks for your help in my choose Paul

I will give the feedback after !

I think the 7400 could be very good.

When the FB came out, I went looking for a cheaper option to see if there was anything to this whole 'superlight' phase and ended up with the Vapour Trail Pure.

Well, even though it was light and fast, it didn't really make my arm any quicker and I struggled to get any punch out of it. It was pretty horrid to be honest.

So as an experiment I taped the head to give me more swingweight.

Strangely, with one layer of athletic tape added to the head, the specs are now almost the same as the Lightfighter 7400! It's still a little bit headlighter than my modified VTP, but it should be a pretty fast and punchy racket.

I'd be curious to hear what you think.

On another note, I notice that directbadminton.co.uk has most of the new Victors available for sale now.

Although I wonder how many Jetspeeds they'll sell at USD229 which is just under double the price in Asia.

I dont known how much time the racket will take to arrive to Portugal, but when I have I will post here what I think of the racket.

I really want a fast powerful and punchy racket, if was lightweight like this.. better

The next step is buying a new shoes

Arrived in Birmingham yesterday with fellow forum member Mark Appleton to set up Victor stringing base for All England's.

Also met Korean team arriving yesterday.

Expecting a lot of rackets to arrive today.

I wonder if anyone asks for specific string patterns, I assume not and they just play with what they're given.

I would think they only asks for string type and tension as well. I would be surprised if they ask for specifics in pattern and method.

    OK guys - first report.

Set up by 1pm and then had to wait, and wait, and wait....no rackets on day 1! Bad news.

We had a Meteor 90 arrive from Chinese Taipei to string VS850 30/32 lbs.

As I left the room this afternoon, Korean PLayer Shin Beak Choel arrived with 5 Thruster 9000's to string in VS850 at 32/33 lbs. Hopefully this will open the door to more rackets arriving.

    So exciting!
    KRP coded or normal?
    Balance?
    Weight?

Please share us some info and try to see specs if you don't have that much rackets to string lol

All rackets arrive with grips and strung cut out. We do not have the time to strip the grip off to weigh or measure balance point. You 'll get what we know and that's it I'm afraid.

As long as we know it's unstrung and what kind of grip it is, we can estimate it's dry specs.

We are photographing as many rackets we can.

Give us time to collate what we have, after all we still have to keep up with the stringing.
