hi just wondering, im looking to buy a victor racket, which racket would u recommend, which has a stiff shaft or similar to yonex's z slash?
Z slash doesn't have a stiff shaft. If you want a racket with stiff shaft, then BS10, MX80 and SW35 are the best choice. Depends what your style is and what do you play ? Singles doubles ? If you are looking for a racket that has shaft similar to Z Slash, then BS12 and SW37 are close as well as SP22
that is why i said OR.... but thanks anyway....and yeh mainly singles but play mixed and doubles as much
The MX80 is an amazing racket and has many excellent reviews by BC members. You can also get them in the UK for £126 which is great value for such a good racket. The BS12 is much more flexible but equally a very good racket. I play with this and the BS09 but I play mainly front in doubles. Based on your wish list th MX80 would probably be a better buy. Cheers
ok i shall take your word on it, becuase ive always used yonex, i know more about them than victor. But if you could simply sum up. Which racket would you suggest to me...? SW35, SW37 or MX80..or even any others?
SW35, MX80 and BS10 are the most highly rated from Victor. SW35 is probably the most suited to singles out of the three, followed by the MX80. BS10 is more of a doubles racket. So between SW35 & MX80. SW37 if you cant handle the stiffness of SW35 & MX80.
I think the MX80 is the best all-rounder in my opinion. However I play a lot of doubles so also use the BS series a lot for the added speed, saying that the MX80 doesn't forfeit too much speed but gives lots of added power which you are probably used to from the Z-slash.
after doing some extensive research, i have decided to go with BS10 but i have not purchased one yet, so i shall finalise soon
BS10 is an excellent all rounder - I doubt you'll be disappointed unless you're a smash addict or, like me, a (self-professed) sniper/controller.
cool as i said, ive not 100% decided, but i am more or less going towards it, unless i find another racket which catches my attention
Definately better to be sure. My BS10 is the Taiwan version so it is one notch down on the stiffness front, probably similar to the z-slash. I just cant put down my BS12 at the moment as am loving it. Guess I just prefer medium flex shaft more so haven't given it to much of a run out yet.
Yeah the ones sold in the uk have the stiffest rating. The one I have is the next level down so would sit between the mediums and the stiff shaft.
AFAIK they are all made in the same country, the difference in stiffness is between the codes for the racket, for BS10 there is a difference in stiffness between some codes. Only applies to the BS series.
