Hey guys, I just got these from E78.com.hk. Awesome deal, we don't normally get these in Toronto. My initial reaction is that the Wave Fang and Wave Smash GT fit a bit small, so you might have to order a half size larger. The grip on the Wave Fang is amazing. It is almost too much and you might jam your toe or catch yourself because it is too grippy.

They are both very low to the ground, they feel lower than my Yonex Shb85. However, you can still feel the rise of the Wave platform in the heel. The Wave Smash Wide seems more similiar to their volleyball shoes like the Wave Spike. There is more tech, but also more bulk and weight.

 I see you got the XT Fang's. Was thinking of ordering them from there as well last week :D. The Smash 2/wide is a 4E model, the others 3E (but I assume you already knew beforehand). So, is the Wide 2 actually wider than the 85's? Might see if I can otherwise pick up a pair of the Wide (1), quite cheap on Rakuten I just noticed :).
Can you measure the widest part of the forefoot for the XT and Wide 2? (what size are they anyway [IMG]?)

    bro,
1)i can see wave fang and wave smash GT so what the other one?
2)do u walk in to the shop or buy online?
    3) how much each model included GST tax ? shipping cost how much?
4)which model from mizuno rank higher?
5)can give some review on the 3 shoes if u have tried.
6)u said compare to yonex shoe the mizuno is much lower means less padding or cuhsioning?
7)since padding is lower also mean weight is much lesser therefore lighter?
8)they also sell bobalat shadow oren color why u do not choose them but wave fang?

Hi guys, here are some quick responses. I will make a separate post comparing these shoes.

Demolidor - The Mizuno 3E size is no wider than the regular Yonex sizes. The 4E size of the Wave Smash is definately wider, but also heavier.

Zero_Hour - If you are wearing a Wave Blocker in size 11, I would assume you would get a Wave Smash Wide in 11 and Wave Smash GT in 11.5

Yurimaster - Most of the pricing is on E78.com.hk or Rakuten. There is a funny story about the Babolat Shadow - my freind won't let me buy them. He wanted the orange shoes for himself, so I bought the Shb 85 instead.

Your shoes look awesome!! I found my Wave Smash to be not nearly as grippy as the Wave Fang.

Help tip #1: take some real photos yourself :). Don't just post pictures found on the internet ;)

Thx for the info. Was more concerned their 3E was narrower rather than wider :D. How are the Fang's compared to your 85's size wise?

I made a separate post with the Shb 85 and Wave Fang next to each other. The Wave Fang are definately the smallest and slimest shoe that I have had in a 25.5 cm measurement. The toebox has a very low profile too. If I were in Japan, I would have liked to try a .5 cm larger shoe. The Shb 85 are the perfect fit for me.
