Not sure if u guyz hav already bumped on to this ftp site. I cudnt find anything frm all the search i did. Anywayz, this ftp site has all the games of Commonwealth 98 and Sydney 2000 Olympics.

    ftp://htslab.sharif.edu/users/kianzad/MISS/badminton-clips/

CW 98 is already avbl at the zax's mirror site but not the syndey 2000 ones.

So enjoy u all and thnk the samaritan who had put up these videos. I gotto d/l all of them.

PS: the d/l rate cud be slow

Nice. I'm downloading the Sydney Olympics folder @ 23K. Should take ~ 15 hours for the whole thing.

Thanks very much for posting this yobujji. I was trying to find another server to d/l the rest of the ones I didn't have already. Hopefully, the IOC won't find this and shut it down like they did worldbadminton.com.

Whoa, whoa, Phil, hold up!! The IOC shut down worldbadminton.com?? Well, that could explain why I couldn't get into their website today. But why? Are the other mirrors shut down too? Darnit, Stan tries to do something good for the badminton community and this is what happens?
Hopefully more servers can be found.
Sigh, another blow to popularizing international badminton.

No, no, no. :) Sorry for the misunderstanding hugo. They didn't shut down the site, they simply made worldbadminton.com take the 2000 Sydney Olympic videos off their servers.

Funny though, I just tried to access their site, and I can't get in either. I could a few days ago...

worldbadminton site is down now but guess its only temporary. so no reason to panic.:)

anywayz the mirror1 site was up until a moment ago.

cant understand why IOC cant allow their videos while few other tournament videos could be made avbl.

Well, it wouldn't necessarily help since the upload is capped at a certain speed and the speed is affected by how many people are downloading ;) So stick the T1 in the uploading end and we'll get it in an hour :)

Well, i d/l ed only 1 or 2 files a day rather than d/l ing the whole folder in one stretch. found that to be easier and gotto watch the videos as and when they were completed.:)

Actually, I'm almost done snagging the whole FTP server. It only 16ish hours. I'm using an FTP program not IE so it makes it a lil easier.
