Hi guys Is there nobody around who's playing with NS850? Fact is: All NSxxx rackets are from Taiwan, all NSxxxx are from Japan Is the NSxxxx serie (made in Japan) really that much better? I thought Nanospeed stands for head light rackets. But this chart shows something other: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=92185&d=1298688748 According the chart the NS850 ist not really head light?
And another question (is there no Edit-Button here?): Can I make a racket head lighter with more grip? Or is this absolutely not recommended?
I have a Nanospeed 800 which is similar and I have used the Nanospeed 850 These rackets are even balanced And yes you can make your racket head lighter with grips I use 2 grips but it is your decision
Thanks for your response. Could you describe the racket with more details? Would be glad to read a little bit more. Which (nanospeed) rackets are you using / have you used too? Could you make a comparison between 850 and 7000 and 7700? Which strings do you use and with how many lbs / kg? Will it be really head lighter or is it almost not noticable head lighter? Are there any "special" overgrips or can I stick a "normal" grip over/on a "normal" grip? (I hope the question was comprehensible )
I only have a Nanospeed 800 strung at 24lbs with BG66 Ultimax I haven't you a Nanospeed 7000 or 7700 before but I can only compare these rackets by its specs for it isn't an 100% reliable. you can put any grip on top of a normal grip I have a normal grip and on top I use a Towel grip.
Just by looking at the Nanospeed 7000, I would choose it because it has an aero frame as the NS850 has a Delta power frame which is very durable, but if you want a fast racket out of the 2 the Nanospeed 7000 would be a good choice. Both rackets are stiff Frame: (NS7000) H.M.Graphite and Fullerene (NS850) H.M.Graphite, Carbon Nanotube and Super HMG Shaft: (NS7000) H.M.Graphite and Fullerene (NS850) H.M.Graphite and Carbon Nanotube On the head heavy, head light chart the Nanospeed 7000 is supposedly head lighter then the Nanospeed 850 Also the NS7000 has a new grommet pattern which means there are less shared holes making the strings last a bit longer because the strings are vibrating together as much. I have also tried the Nanospeed 9900
