    Guys,

for sure, all badminton friends know the spain top player, Pablo Abian. He ist standing at the moment in a final of a tournament in Spain, having had beaten Tommy Sugiarto, if I am not mistaken, he beat Muhammad Hafiz Hazim too at the last Swiss Open.

I am wondering, "who" Pablo Abian is. What do u think guys? Ever seen him playing, what are his abilities to beat all these relatively very good players.

    Regards from Germany:)

Apparently, not many people know who Abian Pablo is.

Comments after CWF and HH lost to him:

"LOL..CWF just lost to Spain player, Pablo in straight game !............still skipping training ?? like Arif did !!"

"That's embarassing!! It's like Spanish U23 football team losing to their Malaysian counterparts"

Although I have seen Pablo around, I honestly didn't expect him to reach the level where he could defeat Tommy Sugiarto. Congratulations.

I have not seen him play so I can't make any comment on his abilities as a player. But if you look at his results the two last seasons (especially this year) you'll see that he really is the revelation of european MS. Although still on a lower level than the top danish players he is the one making most progress. I think this is good for european badminton.

I've seen him play and yes, I agree that his footwork needs some improvement. Probably just luck that he's advancing this far; players all have good and bad days.

:D I think it should be more like the Spanish U19 losing the Malaysian senior national team :p

As for Abian: hard work, never say die attitude and some smart play?

on court he looks like catching up the plane in the last minute. His playing style is just so busy that I feel agitated and uncomfortable when watching his games. A badminton game would be tasteless if totally physical without elegant movement.

Seen some matches with Pablo Abian and all I know is that he got the most impressive fighting spirit, he is VERY passionate when he is playing. Doesn't got that strong attack to be honest, but as I said. A incredible fighting spirit and get's most shots over !
