BAM does not need "miracle makers." There is no fancy easy way out like that. The issue has multiple points of weaknesses, and uness the system itself is revamped you won't get consistent results. For starters, take a look at how the Council functions and what it has achieved so far at the local/state levels. Also, the grassroots selection process, as pBm rightly pointed out, is one of the main reasons why you aren't seeing the really deserving and potential kids coming through the system, and staying on.

This search for the Coaching director or whatever is just another high-profile game of smoke-and-mirrors. The real problems may remain masked under the layers of authority (unaccountable) and stagnant bureaucracy (impotent). And that suits the Board just fine.

But don't give up on Ubah! Use the toilet cleaner and flush out all the bureaucratic impotents and 'tidak boleh's, use the toilet brush and scrape off all those clinging to power for the sake of - power also.

It often a shame with leaders of sports associations and their cronies (being there for no other reason than to be there for no reason) have faces' skins thicker than a rhino's hide, even when 10+ years of records shows that they have failed to meet a standard benchmark of churning out a formidable team. I mean just throw in 3 MS, 1WS, 1WD, is that so much to ask after 10 donkey years? But no, they have no shame. Cling to the post like a scared child clinging to the mother's apron. Just leave and let others have a chance before you suck the nation's resources dry.

Be that at is may, i think he knows he can't be shaking his feet on his table for long as the state of affairs of both churning out talents and it's management in dire need of a miracle revamp will eventually take a toll. Let's see how long can he breathe easy from now on.

Nadzmi wants to step down cos he's eyeing BWF post, it's been reported. Ng CC, some of the council members dont like him, so..if Nadzmi not there, he could go too.

Rationally, a step down is only imminent if they want this fella. Now whether this is going to unfold remains to be seen. So it is rather another way of saying, 'if you don't want me, others want me', sought of a reverse psychology. I don't really think this fella is worth is salt over here, much less over there.
