Yap Kim Hock, Tan zhao Rong, Hendrawan, Koay Kar Lin, Zhou Ke Jian, Wong Mew Choo, will not continue to coach the BJSS juniors next year,.... some are still negotiating but the rest were too disappointed to continue

I like to see the BAM Supremo in the likes of Arsene Wenger who has an eye for youngsters and develop them into megastars and make money at the same time...

KOO Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong's poor performance had finally taken its toll on their coach, Pang Cheh Chang, who has been demoted to the post of national junior doubles chief coach by the BA of Malaysia (BAM) yesterday.

The BAM coaching and training committee (CTC) yesterday proposed that Cheh Chang be redesignated after his 15-month reign as a personal coach to Kien Keat-Boon Heong didn't bring the desired results.
Cheh Chang will take over from another experienced coach, Yap Kim Hock, at the Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) as the doubles' head coach after Kim Hock's contract was not renewed due to poor results of the junior pairs this year.

CTC chairman Chin Chai also confirmed that the committee has proposed to hire a foreign coach, Indonesian Paulus, who will be approached should the BAM executive council give the go-ahead in a meeting next month.
"Cheh Chang has been redesignated as the junior doubles chief coach to replace Kim Hock where the former's track record and experience as a development coach was taken into consideration," said Chin Chai.

"The CTC also proposed to hire a foreign coach to replace Cheh Chang but we will speak to the candidate (Paulus) after getting the approval from the exco and also the greenlight from the National Sports Council.

"Kien Keat-Boon Heong will be training together with the rest of the doubles squad while chief coach Tan Kim Her will coordinate the training sessions.
"The CTC also decided to give Kim Her the full authority to handle the entire doubles squad and he is also accountable for their performance. It is Kim Her's duty to utilise Paulus effectively if he is appointed as one of the doubles coaches.

"The same goes to Rashid Sidek, who will coordinate the entire programme and is responsible for the results of the players.
"The selection process for tournaments will be done by the two chief coaches but the number of players will be based on the region they will be competing in and based on funding."
Chin Chai stated that the search for the new director of coaching or a high performance director to head the 2016, 2020 and 2024 projects will continue as the CTC was unable to zero in on any candidates yet.
BAM was left in the lurch after Park Joo Bong declined its offer to join as the director of coaching last month and the association is being cautious in identifying a new candidate.
The responsibility will be on Rashid and Kim Her to ensure the national team show progress until BAM hires a director of coaching to oversee the entire programme.
