Broken Victor Rackets
The first Bravesword 08, bought in December 2010 from Malaysia, broke somewhen in March. Broke when hitting a slow shuttle. Then I bought the famed SW35 from Taiwan. Which broke within two weeks when clashing with a friend.
What do you think? Any chance for repair? I was thinking of repairing it in Malaysia when I get back over my summer break, but if anyone knows of a good cheap place in London that does it well, let me know.

I really like the SW35, and I am thinking of getting another one. But after two broken Victor rackets in a row, I'm really doubting it.
Thanks!

You managed to break a SW35 ? That thing is practically indestructable (or so I thought)
I have never had a problem with the durability of the SW35 despite me being famed for smacking my rackets of the floor regularly at high(ish) tension (26-29lbs)
What tension are you using ? If it was a hard clash, then any racket will break. BS08 is quite a fragile racket.
Definetly buy another SW35.

Hmm..from the email with the seller, 26lbs. It wasn't that hard a clash btw.
You would reckon that this is unrepairable?

I would say the damage is terminal yes.
the crack is right through the grommet, making any sort of repair tricky, and even if you could repair it, it wouldn't be worth it, as max tension would be much lower than you play with currently.
I would get another SW35 though, I have never seen a broken SW35 before today.

I actually broke one of my SW35's today, at pretty much the same position as the OP.

Got the MX80 when if first came out, really liked it but it died a quite death yesterday during warm up. I think new rackets are a magnet for clashes with inexperienced players. First bad clash which made 2 large chips was because the other player stretched on their backhand to put their racket in the path of my forehand swing.
