Looking for a badminton racket..Hope my answer helps :)
1. How often do you play/how serious are u playing?
I play badminton twice a week roughly 2-4 hrs each session.
My school has no coach so im learning from better players in my school as well as thru the forums here and the internet
2. What style of player are you? (Smasher, net player ...)
My smashes are not really heavy, just that i tend to aim them near the body as well as making it really steep.
My habit is to net crosscourts.
My frens have said that i have a strong wrist and i use it too much tho ):
please suggest me a racket that is even balance
Im currently using a slightly head heavy racket...but in the air it's too heavy for me as i tend to not be fast enough.
3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?
Yes. Performance i believe it's in the player and not so much on the racket.
Im looking for a racket cuz the current racket im using is 7yrs old and i have a feeling it's breaking soon. ( small lines on the neck showing up)
4. How much money do you want to spend?
Money does not really matter....Hmm...from what i heard yonex is just expensive cuz of it's brand tho...
Im looking for a racket that fits the specifications
Flex: Stiff...(im not really sure if i can handle an extra stiff racket....advise is appreciated for this too )
Weight: 4U or 3U Grip preferably the smallest.
Max Tension: <30 is fine im currently using 24,25...
Balance: Even Balance or slightly head heavy...main issue is the weight when i swing the racket thru the air...which is why im currently searching for a new racket..
Really sry for this long info Thx to all!

Do you play singles or doubles?
05-25-2011, 10:01 AM #3
wa! gd point i forgot -_-'''
mostly doubles to save money but im fine with singles...just not fit to continue for v.long
hmm.....would having a "singles" or "doubles" racket actually make a huge decision?
im not trying to say ur question is bad or anything..just that i have no idea actually...

erm, in my opinion, Arcsaber 7 or Armortec 800 Defensive....both are quite forgiving..

Just some hints...
i have watched Young Korean team during competition, as they are not as old as most of us, they play in 2 departments, they play doubles and singles in a 1 tournament.
Most of them,
While play for doubles,
Hard hitter from the back, use SW35.
Front court player use BS10.
However, while they are both played singles, they change to MX80.

and fake would be break in who knows
1 month? 1 week? 1 hour? or maybe the first time you hit the shuttle
so, IMO the durability is pretty bad
as licin said, I would also go for BS10
it is quick, even balance, stiff
please, do not suggest a fake racket
