Their variation in defensive shots impressed me today. Not sure if it will work against the fast and furious pairs, but it was enough to throw Alvent/Hendra, the world number 9 and one of the strongest Indonesian pairs off guard and they won in straight games!
Tan Wee Kiong played much better from when I saw him with Mak Hee Chun, and he looks really comfortable with Hoon Thien How. Hoon Thien How has solid defense.
No targets set and good luck tomorrow, they have exceeded all expectations by far!

As you know Ah How need another safe pair of hand to help him. After TBH, he changed too many partners. And some not so reliable.Hope TWK can be the right one for him. The win today proved Ah How is a vesatile player. I am happy for him. Next round, let's be modest. Against CY/FHFthe chance is slim. But I still hope for miracle.

TWK much improved since he paired up with another youngster and future rising player Ow Yao Han...
hope HTH would have TWK a better partner as TBH...!!

tmr, lcw have to knock off cj.
btw, if cj is out, will he still gets a chance to qualify top 4 if he goes semis in the remainder tournaments?
Any math genius here?

There's still a chance if they don't make silly mistakes and improve on mental.

I think that all depends on how PG and a long shot TH do. If PG wins a SS (that is doubtful, unless that datuk guy smarten up and let PG wins if they meet in SF or F), maintains the gap between him and CJ, then it will be difficult for CJ to get into the top 4. CJ is ahead of TH and I can't see TH leap frogging over CJ in points. We can expect LYB will do what he can (I do the same too if I am LYB) to order LD or CL to throw matches to CJ for CJ to get the points, winning SS is not important to LYB, OLY points are far more important, that is why we see WO and fixing matches. For CHN team, WS, WD, XD, MD are more or less set...it is MS that has one puzzle and that is CJ into the top 4.
Datuk, are you listening, pleazzz.....lose to PG whenever you meet PG
....remember PG is a nice guy, he got 2 kids and a family to raise, not as rich as you lah, PG needs the $$$ before he retires and we all need PG to get the points

Not sure if their defensive playstyle fits the fast and furious. We shall see tonight. After all HTH's playstyle worked on LYD thrice!
