Thanx Mike for reporting back. With only $40 difference, as you said, it's easier to choose a known entity.

Yeah, true. At this stage I think I'll get another MX80 (less and less convinced I need the 70 as I like the stiffness of the 80), but after that, the Fleets are definitely on my radar.

Seriously, pictures don't do this thing justice. It would almost be too pretty to use!

Sorry to revive a semi old thread, but just noticed this on the yehlex uk website.http://www.yehlex.co.uk/product/WOVCNT66Even though it's a different model number, it's description and even it's looks is remarkably similar.

Strange because it looks exactly like the 888.

Both this racket have same physical for thickness of frame and shaft.
Only one things, length of racket. Woven Ti-888 shorter 3 mm compared to MX80.
Then shaft stiffness, Woven Ti-888 more flex little bit compared to MX80.

    Will trying at next Monday.

    Hi,
Can you give a review of the woven ti-888 please? Thanks.

Hi.... Any review yet?... or anyone else having Fleet rackets compare to MX80?
How stiff is the Fleet racket if compared to VT80 and MX80, And how head heavy is the Fleet

    Default Woven Ti-888 replacement?

I came across what might be a replacement from Fleet for woven ti-888. The brief review is worth checking out.

sorry for replying after almost 2 years time really flies...

    1. When I first got the Woven 888 Ti, it felt like dead wood. I failed to play well with it cause I couldn't produce the power required. Stiffest racquet I own.

    2. After almost 1 year plus, I came back to play with it. Nice, very nice direct power transfer to the shuttle... probably due to its stiffness. Got some fitness and managed to produce some nice smashes from Woven 888 Ti .

    3. As for its headheaviness, I think it's not as head heavy as Yonex VT80. And I prefer having only the original grip, as it makes the racquet very easy to maneuver around (Personal preference here).

very nice racquet to play with if you like to smash a lot.
