I've been reading posts on the Mizuno Wave Smash SG being a good shoe to use with orthotics, but I can't find any stockists in Melbourne Australia. Anyone know of somewhere I can buy them, or recommend another shoe that I can buy instead? I can't buy on-line, as I need to try them on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

i'm using orthotics in my yonex shb 200's

they're slightly wider than the usual, so can accomodate my flat feet and orthotics

I'm totally flat footed and I don't wear anything extra in the shoe. I got away from Yonex thou because I was getting knee discomfort and I'm now wearing Asics Volleyball Lyte. Do the orthotics help? I'm worried it might un-stabilize me.

If you're as completely flat footed as you say (and I do seem to recall your condition that may predispose to that), then you really should wear an orthotic to provide better arch support to prevent misalignment and pain to the knees, hips and back. Especially when you play.
