I am a part of a group of casual players that play twice a week on 2 courts. We have a little help keeping the score over the course of a season, and player ranking, but it's not very good (excel spreadsheet with some simple calculations). I was wondering how people keep scores year by year in casual groups, is there some algebra for it, i.e. same as player ranking in tournaments?
Hi Gisli, I started a thread called "Using Elo rating system to rank players within a club" about 6 months ago. It's quite computationally heavy, especially for a small casual group, but may give you some ideas. Regards. L&L.
