I think there is a tendon in my racket hand that every time I hold the racket and swing it hurts.

Has this happened to anyone before?

you're probably gripping it too tight

try to have a relaxed grip most of the time, except you tighten the grip gradually as you swing.. enough that the racket doesn't slip out of your hand

then after fully tighten at impact, you immediately relax the grip again

Likely due to dry hand grip to the racket! Whay material do you used? Rubberised PVC or wool type? Phto images help to illustrate. You experience it during winter? I used hand lotion whilst I play at sydney, during winter time.Hand dry, moisture low?

Hand lotion, but only the ones with glycerin as the main ingredient. Avoid the oily ones with oil and petrolatum as those ones make your palms greasy and slippery. Whereas glycerin once it dries becomes tacky. Here in Canada it's called Curel lotion.

Nah, it's cheap in north America only $7 for 600ml bottle. Make sure you get the "original formula" as the other ones have added oils, lubricants, petrolatum, lanolin etc that makes it greasy.
