hard luck at the QF yesterday , did not have a chance to watch the match but saw the score on the tournament software, which confirmed it was a very close match . The world championship is around the corner nevertheless !!

Oh man, I screwed up bad I deleted Michelle's QF match against Pi Hongyan before I transferred it to my computer! (I'm SO sorry! >__< ) Fortunately, I think there is still an archive of the BadmintonLife livestream. You can find a lower quality version of the match here:

    http://www.livestream.com/badmintonl...9-652d2c488b00
    http://www.livestream.com/badmintonl...4-6e611118dba1
    http://www.livestream.com/badmintonlife/video?clipId=pla_5c4bea95-4906-423a-acd0-9a8c3963a265

(Full credit to BadmintonLife.com and Livestream.com) The WS QF begins halfway through the first video file and it contains most of the match. The second file is only about 5 minutes long, and the last file is the very end of the match and has the rest of the QFs I believe, including my XD QF following Michelle's match.

For a higher quality version of my match (Liu/Luo [CHN] vs Ng/Gao [CAN]):

And... the MD QF (Lee/Ko [KOR] vs Lee/Fang [TPE]):

Enjoy! That's all I will be uploading for Canada Open. I will probably post a brief blog with some pictures shortly, with a list of all the matches I filmed from US and Canada Opens, so be sure to look out for that Thanks for all your support!

If you don't record anything in the meanwhile, chances are you might be able to recover the file with some file recovery software like http://www.pcinspector.de/default.htm?language=1

Nope, I don't think the footage is salvage-able because I deleted it directly off my SD card...

On a slightly brighter note, I have finished my blog on the US and Canada Opens. No new footage unfortunately, just a couple of pictures and how I spent most of my 2 weeks :P Sorry about the delay, but a bunch of us are training in Calgary to prepare for Worlds

I'm not too clear on your question, but if you're wondering how I prep for a match that starts at 2pm, I'd probably try to get a brief hit for an hour earlier in the morning if possible (maybe 8-9am), then refuel and rest until then. Obviously I'd go for an earlier lunch to digest properly and I would try to get to the venue an hour before the match. I know it changes from venue to venue based on warm up court availability, but generally I'd like to do some slow stretching while listening to music for about 20-30 mins, then try to hit on court for another 20-30 minutes. I need the stretching, as I'm personally quite stiff haha... but my coach has told me you should be able to get yourself ready in only 30 minutes, as I often see the Koreans warm up quite well in only a brief amount of time. Then again, that's probably because they've already hit earlier in the day and had a proper warm up. Hope that answers your question

Music I find is very important. It puts my head in the right mood. I usually listen to some Guns N' Roses or AC/DC. Maybe a little Rush. Get me pumped and ready to go. I love oldies rock Black Sabbath is good as well.
