    Hi,
I've got a Pro's Pro stringing machine (the model number is unknown to me). It's a machine with a dropping-weight.

Until last week there was not problem at all. The machine worked perfectly and I had done a lot of stinging jobs.
But now there is the problem that the bar where the weight is fixed does not stop where it stopped before. It's quite hard to explain. Normally if you drop the weight and put it up again it'll stop at a certain point.
But as I already said it doesn't and I don't want to risk any rackets.

That's the stringing machine in a position that the machine is supposed to be. However...

It always goes down like this.

BTW: I don't have a manual or something since this machine is from a freidn of mine whom I borrowed it.

I hope you guys can help me. I'm really desperated :S

In case of my Eagnas machine, the movement of the weight/arm is limited by a screw at the bracket. In your case, the screw may have been loose out. Tighten it a few turns and this may fix the problem. Good luck.
