personally I would say CJ is better because he is much more of an all rounder. Although he does play defense for most of the time, the times that he does attack, its more effective then CL. I've seen CL play, and he seems to not think about his attack, and doesn't really have a plan.
Today CJ is better than CL, but CL is 3 year younger than CJ. IMO if anyone can emulate LD style that will be CL. And my prediction is when all top players are retired, it will be CL as the man to beat.
if chen long will be the man to beat in future it is a disaster,at least for me his style is not comfortable to watch
Maybe, but at least CL is the only one currently able to nab the most points out of LCW in a tournament even if he loses the match overall. LD may have beaten LCW but that was sometime ago in January 2011. CL is a force to be reckoned with at the moment and he would most probably improve by time.
And CL has excellent stamina. If he didn't make so many silly unforced errors in Indonesia Open final, he would have given LCW a much better fight. We can tell the gap between him and LCW is getting smaller and smaller.
today they have same performance. but i choose CL even CJ has beter achievement ( olympic bronze medalist, WC champion, All england champ) but 3 or 5 years later when LCW or LD is retired and CJ performance is down i predict CL will be the king of MS. he beat CJ in final china master
Chen Jin is definitely better than Chen Long. However, Chen Long is a natural, therefore the free flowing and relaxed game while Chen Jin is demonstrative with how he conducts his plays. One is laid back and the other is fierce but it all boils down to the end result.
CJ performance is down this time. CL performance is consistent except in WC( if you see his match again kevin cordon you will know that is not CL's fault. CL play well but cordon that ranked 26 play like he is world top 5 and the score is 27-25 in game 3. i think he is out of luck that time.) he was semifinalist in superseries final, malaysia, all england, adn indonesia he win china open 2011
