    CAMP 1 - Start on July 4-8, 2011 at Renfrew Community Center

    CAMP 2 - Start on July 11-15, 2011at Renfrew Community Center

    CAMP 3 - Start on August 2-5, 2011 at Renfrew Community Center

    CAMP 4 - Start on August 8-12, 2011at Renfrew Community Center


    CAMP 5 - Start on August 15-19, 2011 at Renfrew Community Center

    CAMP 6 - Start on August 22-26, 2011 at Renfrew Community Center


    Please call in Renfrew Community Center for registeration. Camp 1 will be held at Renfrew Community Center (4 courts). The rest of the trainning camp will be held at Windermeer High School, and we will occupy 6 badminton courts for the trainning.

    We will take maximum of 8 students. Birds will be supplied, rackets will be supply if needed. The training is 75 minutes long and students can stay behind to play an additional 30 minutes minute free of charge.


    We will have a badminton fun party + tournament +foods + prizes on the last day of the lessons. Please call in early to register and save your spot.

    The program will be coach by a professional badminon coach - Richard Your Badminton Coach. Richard is a Level III NCCP coach and will able to help to bring your kids game to the next level.

    Richard will teach Asian Techniques: Proper Clearing Action, Proper Smashing Action, Drop Shot from rear court, Drive and proper grippings, Posture and positioning, Foowork and ready step, Net drop and Net Kill, Single games strategy and tactics.

    The program will be customized depend on the level of the group. Each group is different.


    KID/YOUTH BEGINNER BADMINTON PROGRAM (6-16 year old)

    [SIZE=-1]Learn the basic foundation of badminton techniques and footwork from a badminton professional coach. The program introduces the basic racquet skills, movement, and coordination required for badminton. There are a number of activities offered to improve the kids understanding of the game. Participants will learn basic forehand, backhand, serve, and rules. (Each lesson include extra 30 minutes of play time) The program is being coach by Richard. Richard had competed in the Canadian Badminton Open for 2002 & 2003, and has over 25 years of playing experience and over 10 years of coaching experience. [/SIZE]

    [SIZE=+0]BADMINTON PROGRAM (7-17 year old) [/SIZE]

In this program, children learn the basic overhead strokes, like smash, clear, serves and net play. Half court games will improve court movement and basic strokes. More movement and consistency with the basics skills will be worked in this program. Players will concentrate on development of technique, drills, strategy, and games preparing players for competition. [/SIZE]

    [SIZE=+0]YOUTH INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE BADMINTON PROGRAM (7-17 year old) [/SIZE]

    [SIZE=-1]Once children/youth have achieved the basic skills, they will find more challenges at this level. More movement and consistency with the basic skills will be worked in this program. Strategy for singles, doubles, as well as footwork drills is the focus of the lessons. Players will concentrate on development of technique, drills, strategy, and games preparing players for competition. The program is being coach by Richard. Richard had competed in the Canadian Badminton Open for 2002 & 2003, and has over 25 years of playing experience and over 10 years of coaching experience. [/SIZE]

    If your kids never play badminton before and have no skills, the students can become an intermediate player within 1 month period trainning every day with a professional coach which normally can take up to 2-3 years playing on their on without proper instruction.

    Student can enrol in 2 beginner badminton camp to start off, once the students learn the basic foundation of badminton skills, the student can enrol in the next level which is the advance beginner class, here in this class, the students will sharpen up those skills and sharpen up the footwork as well as game strategy and tactics. Students will have a chance to compete with other students who are better this eventually will help the students to develop metal toughness. After the students enrol in one or two class of the advance beginner,student now can enrol in the intermediate/advance class. Now the students have some of the basic foundation already, the students will now learn apply these skills into a full court game situation and learn to be more competitive on the court.

    If you know of any kids who are looking for a sport to join and consider to play a fun sport like badminton but doesn't know where the right place to start, you have find the right place.

    Richard goals is to teach kids/youth to develop a strong foundation from the grass root level so that when they reach the age of 15-16 year old, after many years of trainning and learning the right foundation in the beginning, the students now able to move to next level whether they want to be a top provincial players, top national players, or top international players, they know that if they work hard and willing to put the time and effort, they will be successful in the world and achieve that goal so once day we as canadian can have some badminton gold medallist.

    Hi, Our Badminton Training Camp will starting tomorrow on August 15th.

    Richard just have a chance to compete in the canadian open 2011. After spending more than one week of practice more than 50 hours and play with many top world class player, Richard now can smash from 120 -140 mph on a badminton smash at an international level.

    If you have kids who want to learn how to smash more powerful, feel free to join the camp and improve your smash.

    The program will be coach by Richard!

    We have pizzas and prizes to give out on friday!

    All youth/kid from age 6-17 year old are welcome to join.
