I want to play badminton!

I am so glad to see this forum but at the same time worried that my skills is not professional enough to join you gals/guys.

I am from Singapore and would be working here for a year. I have been looking online for a badminton group since I was here in early May. I miss the game very very much. Back in Singapore, I played with my regular group for 3 hours every Sunday for afew years. I am aching all over for the game.

Can I join the group? I am staying in Akkamai. May I know how to get to your court? And the timing. Any one can help me?

I'm living around Ekkamai too. I'm looking for some group where I can join. I sometimes play with my students, but since they go to the university... not that often anymore. Did you get the place to play yet?

hello, my name is vic from philippines, i just came here last july 1st and will stay for a year, i am looking for the place i can play badminton. my place here in thailand is at chatrium rverside, charoenkrung road. is there a nearby court here? or where can i find a court that foreigner like me can play?

Hi,

Our club is located near Kasetsart University / Major Cineplex Ratchayothin. Is it too far from you guys?

The name of our club is All Star Badminton club. We normally have 30-60 players. We play on Sat from 1900-2400 h. and Sun from 1800-2400 h.

The court fee is 60 Baht and 13 Baht for each shuttle.

We are starting a game at Pridi banomyong 42 this coming Saturday from 9am to 11am. If you are coming from Akkamai, just flag a motorbike and they will bring you here. The courts are in a sports complex. Let me know if you are still keen. My email add is brenda438@hotmail.com.
