BADMINTON STAR: Chong Wei can deliver
    By YEOH SENG HONG, Penang

    2009/01/22

TO win the Malaysian Open five times and come from one set down to beat Peter Gade Christensen in the final gives Lee Chong Wei the stamp of being the greatest Malaysian badminton champion. Lee has met and overcome all his opponents in the Ma-laysian Open. It is now up to him to win the All-England.

Just as Malaysia has a squash ace in Nicol David, Lee can be depended on to deliver the goods in badminton.

uh oh, more pressure on the WR1.:D

How did Lee Chong Wei get to become World No.1 at the moment?

    .
Both Oldhand and george@chongwei are correct to mention about sound arguments.

Question: How did LCW get to become World No.1 at the moment?
Answer: Because LCW has won or nearly won more tournaments than anyone else, atm.

No need to say that.
LCW has won or nearly won more tournaments than anyone else, atm.
This is the most logical answer. :)
LCW has won or nearly won more tournaments than anyone else, atm.
They need not expect it. :p
LCW has won or nearly won more tournaments than anyone else, atm.
LCW has done it already. :)

We cannot say that reporters are wrong.
LCW has won or nearly won more tournaments than anyone else, atm.
How else can they report it?

    :):):)

to be fair, limsy is wrong for some reason
but Dato, to be honest also...
if your post about Rexy and YKH should leave BAM
and our local players perfomance....it also shows
that you are not appreciating their efforts also :cool::cool:
    that is my view....

Is expected. But i am afraid that you are in the wrong thread. And i didnt quote yours reply. It's Limsy's.

Btw, it is only my very own opinion to stated that It is time for Rexy and YKH to leave after the OG disasters. And if u read carefully, i am asking YKH to leave instead of Rexy.

    Really now, only YKH?

Let's see, the title of your thread is:
It's Time For Yap Kim Hock And Rexy To Leave

Your very first sentence in the opening post of that thread is:
and the last sentence ended with:

Anyone else here having problem seeing that Dato's statement = asking for both YKH and Rexy to leave BAM (more specifically for YKH = step down)???

Now..my dear Dato, you want to backtrack all the way and stated that you only asking YKH to leave instead of Rexy?????? Gosh, any more flip flopping you want to do while you at it??

Limsy.. i think you better retract your statement. Really by no means.. u have no right to say that they dont have depth and view in judgement for badminton. Even me i dont dare to say that. :) Think carefully my friend. I know you point is more for surface only.

I know you have your own opinion and i respect that. No matter what we do.. dont degrade the coaches and players. Just remember that. Everyone is trying their best to do whats best for others and themselves.
