Cool Lee Jae Bok video

Does anyone know where I can find his "Play to Win" video? Are there other comparable videos? Thanks!

It seems none of the videos (Lee, Dick Ng) include drops shots. Is there any on the Web? Thanks.

There's a guy who sells it here in Vancouver but I have no idea where you could get it in California.

Unfortunately he only seems to cater to the local badminton community. But that's not to say he wouldn't sell to anyone out of town, I've just never heard of anyone out of town buying anything off him.

That's his info if you want to try emailing him or something. Perhaps he can hook you up some how.

Check out Asby www.asby.com. I bought mine from there. Also,
you may want to visit USAB's website. They've instructional videos
(some from IBF).

Also, if you're looking for videos on techniques (strokes and footwork),
check out the VCD by a Chinese player, Xiong Guo-Bao (see
http://www.hiqua.com/badmn/). He was one of the top players in
mid-late 80's.

I also bought my copy of Play to Win at ASBY. Dunno if they still have it. If you don't see it at their site, try sending them an email inquiry.

USAB site = www.usabadminton.org

Click on the Merchandise link. Don't think they have the Bok vid but they do have other useful vids.

Did you try the IBF site? www.IntBadFed.org

Lee Jae Bok's Korean website has the video as does our local badminton shop.

http://www.liba-korea.com/?doc=shop/...&scid=04000000

The picture on the website shows an English cover but the shipping instructions refer only to Korea. Still, you've nothing to lose by firing off an email. Typically, shipping out of Korea on a one-off basis seems to be much cheaper than, say, from the UK or Canada. I don't suppose living in California would guarantee that you'd know anyone from Korea who(se friend or relative) could take something over the sea for you.

Is the tape itself (from the Korean site) in English? Does it use the PAL format? Note that the U.S does not use PAL at all.

I actually bought a VCD version of Play to Win. It is dubbed into Korean. The original soundtrack was obviously LJB speaking in English but rather than doing his own Korean overlay, a voice actor did it in Korean. Very annoying to listen to. There were two CDs in the shop. One had the contents printed in English and the other had them in Korean. I bought the one with English but it is still dubbed into Korean.

The video I had seen in there that had a label only in English said it was PAL but the shopowner swore that everything she had in her shop was for the Korean market. Either she is wrong, and the tape would be useless to me because it is PAL, or she is right and the tape would be as irritating as the CD because of the overdubbing. Either way, I've never heard that LIBA has produced any videos with English and NTSC. If they have, I don't expect them to be available here in Korea.

There are copyright issues here. LJB has done amazing work for all players and coaches so to upload a copy without his consent would be morally wrong.
